最近一个学员上岸了Amazon BA intern，和我分享了一下他的求职经历，这里总结一下，希望可以帮助到正在求职Amazon BA intern的同学。

 

今天主要想从两块来聊聊，BQ和Technical。

 

一、BQ：

1、BQ（Behavioral question），即行为面试问题，面试官会通过BQ考察你的性格特征和职场软技能，判断你与企业的文化、价值观等原则是否匹配，最终决定是否录用你，Amazon非常重视这一部分，可能你前面畅通无阻，但是到了最后的BQ轮莫名其妙的就被挂了。

 

2、不过读不懂面试官这些“潜台词”，被挂也是意料之中了，分享一些面试者在BQ中非常容易踩的坑

 

1）你为什么想来应聘这个岗位？

送命回答：钱多、活少、离家近。

正确回答：首先，说明自己对这一岗位的了解程度；其次，说明自己的能力足以胜任这份工作；最后，表达对该公司/该岗位的热爱。

 

2）为什么离开上家公司？

送命回答：公司管理乱、工资低、工作不稳定、工作中学不到东西、技术发展前景不好、天气不好等等。

正确回答：首先，充分肯定之前的工作、公司和团队，表示对前公司的感谢，然后表达出对面试公司的欣赏和兴趣。

 

3）你的缺点是什么？

送命回答：懒惰、不自信、太爱工作、完美主义、人际交往能力差。

正确回答：有时候会因为太过注重细节而忽略大局，诸如此类的某个具体却无伤大雅的缺点，多用比较“软”的词，比如：sometime、可能等等。

 

3、分享一些BQ问题和suggested answers

1）Why Amazon and why this role?

Answer: Amazon’s business growth and impact are compelling and motivating. I like to intern at a dynamic company that puts customers first and offers a lucrative environment for workers to grow.

 

2）Tell me about a time you failed? How did you deal with the failure?

Answer: Talk about the situation briefly and take responsibility without making excuses. Discuss why it was difficult and what you did to salvage the situation. Then talk about the lessons you learned and how they have made you a better person/employee.

 

3）What did you do in your previous internship?

Answer: If you have done an internship before, mention it and the skills you acquire from it. Mention how it has made you a better fit for your present application. If you have not done an internship before, honestly state that and add that you have had an intern-like experience. You can mention academic projects, volunteer experiences, work experiences, lab work, etc., from which you learned some skills.

 

4）What are the main attributes that make your work approach unique

Answer: As an intern, you are assisting and learning from business analysts. State the specific tasks you did and how they culminate into making you a great fit for the present application. Express career goals that align with the company’s expectations for the ideal candidate for the position.

 

二、Technical

Technical 问题主要包括SQL 和other questions，这里分享一些SQL的常见问题和一些在面试中容易犯的错误

 

1、SQL的常见问题

 

1）What is a self-join?

Answer: Self-join is used to combine rows in the same table. It is a situation where each row is attached to itself and other rows in the same table.

 

2）What is the select command?

Answer: The select command is a data manipulation language used to get rows from the same or several tables.

 

3）Can you differentiate between OLTP and OLAP?

Answer: OLTP refers to online transaction processing, which lets many people execute large database transactions. It is a database modification system. OLAP refers to online analytical processing, and it is a query response system in an online database.

 

4）What is a unique constraint?

Answer: The unique constraint prevents duplication of values by ensuring that all values in the column are unique.

 

5）What is data integrity? 

Answer: Data integrity ensures the consistency and accuracy of data stored in a database. Data integrity also ensures data consistency in a database with company rules and preferences.

 

2、在面试中容易犯的错误

 

1）  准备不充足；

2）没有找到合适的资源，推荐一些练习SQL的特别好的网站：

https://www.stratascratch.com/；

Leetcode；

Hankerank；

篱笆面经题库，都是近期面试真题：https://www.libaedu.com/questions/19_26.html。

3）时间分配问题：一般来说，在准备面试的过程中，有60%的时间要分给BQ,剩下的40%用来准备tech。
