In recent years, marketing has become more quantitative and data-intensive. Marketing transactional data, a common type of big data, often forms the core set of information used to make marketing decisions. This course focuses on how analytical techniques such as data mining, machine learning, and statistical modeling can be applied to solve marketing problems. The approach to this course is to complete a series of data-intensive case studies that provide us with a hands-on approach to learning marketing analytics. Each case provides students with data, marketing issues, and compatible analytical techniques
课程大纲
The total duration of the project is four weeks. In the first week, the tutor communicates with students online, assigns tasks related to software learning, and teaches students to use statistical tools such as R and Minitab. From the second to fourth weeks, students will be provided with a unique marketing case. , and provide data, use analysis methods including: regression, mixed models, logistic regression, decision trees and experimental/repeated models, machine learning, etc., and finally submit three market strategy reports
